The Oren Group is a marketing and business development consulting firm. We provide market intelligence and strategic advice to technology startups, enterprises, corporations, and investors in the high tech, internet, and digital media sectors.



I am Chaim Oren, principal at The Oren Group. I have more than 25 years experience with B2C and B2B marketing, advertising, branding, strategic planning, and business development  at some of the leading international marketing agencies and organizations, including Young & Rubicam, McCann, Ruder Finn, Tupperware Brands, and Jupiter Research.



I am the Israeli innovation partner of Center For Innovation Commercialization LLC (CICL)  — a US-based marketing group that specializes in business development and strategic marketing for technology startups in cyber security, digital marketing, IoT and smart city, new media, mobile, clean-tech, medical devices, digital healthcare and other industries.



For three years, I served under contract as the Commercial Representative of the State of Connecticut in Israel responsible for developing interest among targeted Israeli companies to commercialize their technologies by setting up operations in Connecticut. Our matchmaking efforts focused on biotechnology, medical devices, advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and enterprise software.



I was the Israeli partner at TBK Consult a leading European consulting firm that focused on assisting the entry of independent software vendors to Europe.

Prior to that, I headed the Israeli office of Jupiter Research in 2005-2008, where I managed the company’s entry into the Israeli market and its growth until it was acquired by Forester Research in late 2008. Prior to that, I was the CEO of Tupperware Brands Israel. I increased its sales turnover to over $10 million and received recognition award for achieving the highest sales gain in the world.


I started my career as a marketing strategist at the New York office of Young & Rubicam, where I worked on the American Express and Time Inc. accounts. I later co-founded Zoëtics Inc., a Manhattan-based marketing consulting firm, where we advised Fortune 500 companies including AT&T, Kraft-General Foods, Eastman Kodak, Time Warner, Procter & Gamble, KPMG, and Avon.




After returning to Israel, I worked as the Director of Strategic Planning and New Business for Kesher Barel, Israel’s top advertising agency. I later played a leading role in affiliating the agency with McCann Erickson.




I hold an MBA degree in Marketing from the City University of New York- Zicklin School of Business, Magma Cum Laude and B.A. degree in Political Science from Tel Aviv University, Magma Cum Laude.
